We Are Headed Back To South Florida:

Last June we ventured out of the studio and out of Orlando and went "WHERE THE BOYS ARE" . We went to the sunny shores of Fort Lauderdale and to our great  pleasure not only are there BOYs in Fort Lauderdale but MEN, hot and Sexy men.  Last year we were pleased to meet and photograph about 8 men in four days.  Well this year we are returning to Sun and Sand and we hope to meet as many men as time will allow.

If you are in the South Florida area and want to become a part of the years shoot let us hear from you. If you have shot with us in the past year we require an email asking to be included and please tell us of any physical changes since our last shoot.  If you have not shot with ClassicManPhoto in the past or if it has been more then a year please fill out the Model search form on our website and attach at least one RECENT photo - photos should show face and at least torso.

Please remember that all ClassicMan models must be at least 21 years of age and show verifiable proof of identity and age. Please see that bottom of this page for information on "TFP" All ClassicManPhoto shoots are TFP.  We will also be casting for some video options while in Fort Laurderdale.

The shoot locations are still being worked out, further information will be available as you express your interest.  The dates for shooting will be sometime during the second or third week in June.

Hard as it may seem to believe ClassicManPhoto have been photographing men here in the Central Florida area for over 15years and in New York for 10 years prior to that. 25years of capturing the Art of Man. In honor of the 25 year make and the 15 years here in Orlando we would like to do several shoots with some of the men we shot back in the early days.

If you are interested in being a part of this shoot let me know - we began shooting here in Orlando for a local calendar project back in 1994/95 and would love to shot with anyone who we have worked with from that point on.  It has always been our contention that with age come wisdom and grace, lets see if the hotness levels are still there or if as I suspect those hotness levels might even have grown with confidence and experience.

This project will  run through the summer.  We hope to hear from many of our original  ClassicMan "MEN"

Currently scheduled seminars that are taking reservations are as follows....

Orlando Casting Seminar:

All models must be at least 21 years of age or older with verifiable proof of age and identity.

Classic Man Photography is pleased to offer  free seminars for men interested in the highly competitive world of male modeling. Our founder and nationally recognized photographer, Stephen DeMatteis, will be conducting our seminar and offer his years of professional and artist experience. With more than 20 years of photographing men, his advice is a valuable tool in planning for a successful and profitable career as a Male Model.

He will be addressing such issues as...

• Creating a "Marketable" image and style

• An Effective headshot and comp card / portfolio

• Working in front of the camera, using your face and body to their fullest

• Taking direction, trusting the photographer

• Aging with style and grace

• Self promotion

The basic seminar will run 90 minutes.  Starting promptly at 10:a.m.. The basic seminar will end at 11:30a.m.. Doors open at 9:30 and will be closed at 10:a.m.  Being on time shows professional punctual behavior.

At 11:30 there will be a 30 minute break,  At which time we will ask some of the men to remain for a casting shoot.  This will be a free evaluation session before the camera. If you are asked to return for this second session the following will be required of each man....

• A copy of your Drivers License showing proof of name address and AGE. We will not be able to make these copies for you SO YOU MUST BRING A PHOTOCOPY WITH YOU .

• To sign an image release form, along with a completed model information form.

• The willingness to follow direction when you are set before the camera.  If you are holding a current comp card and or portfolio be sure to bring it with you.

• Each model will be asked to pose in minimal clothing or in tasteful nude. This is not an option so if it is an issue for you, remove yourself from the selection process. It is suggested that each man wear/bring pose able underwear, t'back and or Speedo.

• Evaluations and suggestions will be given to each man who is selected for the afternoon section of our presentation.  Written evaluations will be sent to each man selected for the afternoon session within 10 days of the seminar.

Healthy Chocolate:
Ok, so many of you have thought I was crazy, now putting together the words "Healthy" and "Chocolate" you are thinking I have lost it altogether.  We let me tell you I am not losing my mind only a few inches around my middle and some depressing reports from my Dr., and I credit a lot of the positive chance to eating CHOCOLATE.  Not the run of the mill "candy" that we are used to calling chocolate but rather healthy Cold Pressed chocolate filled with a remarkable level of powerful antioxidants. When I first began my chocolate regiment I thought it seemed strange that I could be doing my body good and eating chocolate. It has only been a few weeks for me and I am amazed at the reactions I see in my body. Inches off my middle, Far less joint and muscle pain, a lower A1C showing a marked improvement in lowering my blood sugar and the hardest part of it to explain for me is just a basic sense of well being. I FEEL BETTER, by eating chocolate.

Reservations are requires for all seminars and participants must be men at least 21 years of age. Participants are required to be on time or early and will not be admitted one we have begun the presentation.

No Need To Pay For Your Headshot Or To Start A Portfolio:

We have been meeting with and interviewing a lot of new model possibilities lately, and we have been hearing the same old story  form so many of them.  They see ads, answer casting calls and even get invited by so called casting agents or photographers for modeling opportunities. Once they get there they find out that it is nothing more then a sales pitch - someone looking to sell them Headshots, a portfolio and more.   I have been photographing men for over 25 years and I have see it all. Let me tell you there is.....

NO REASON YOU SHOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR YOUR HEADSHOTS OR PROFILE PICTURES.

If you are a good looking men with a pleasant personality, and an ego you can leave outside of the studio Classic Man Photo is  more then willing to work with you. TFP (see bottom of the page for more info) was created for models just starting out. Since we have been around for so long we also have a creative and realistic sense of what sells, what is marketable and what is not.  Since we are not looking to sell you anything we are very honest with you about your potential. We are free to suggest ways to enhance your presentation and build your portfolio.  If we don't think you have what it takes, we are free to tell you that as well without loosing a sale, because we were never selling anything in the first place.

Every ClassicMan model enters into an agreement with what is expected of them and what will be presented to them - all this is done after the initial interview and hot light interview. If ClassicMan agrees to work with you you know what you will be getting.  Even in the event you want more shots for your portfolio then ClassicMan suggests, we can often work with you for time and additional photos. If you are considering a new Headshot or Portfolio or even updating what you already have. ClassicMan and TFP is the best way to proceed.
