Fort Lauderdale, Where The Boy's Are, and some Really Hot Men

It Was A Great Shoot ! I am blown away by the incredible response to our casting in Fort Lauderdale and I am pleased to have met so many great man. I had my first appointment waiting for me when I arrived, and saw about a 8 to 10 men a day for the next four days. 

 

Men ranging in age from 23 through 55. Each with his own unique personality and approach to his sensuality.  When I shot at the location I often feel limited in the diversity of shooting that I can do with the limited time and space, NOT THIS TIME ! The men and the location offered me a creative and exciting environment where art was able to happen.

 

I look forward to another trip to South Florida in the near future. I would like to

give you a little hint, of what is to come as I get around to editing and finishing the shots from this great shoot - so enjoy the few shots we have posted here.  One of the best parts of this shoot was the diversity of men who came through for interviews and shots.

 

Not only did we see a wide age range, but bodies in every stage of muscle development and presentation.  We saw everything from the smoothest of men to hairy daddy bears and everything in between.  I was please to see some guys who even had great tan lines. Something to often lost in this age of the spray on tan.

Cole, this is a true southern gentleman with a heart of gold and  eye that twinkle when he smiles. He has a body that would impress even the most jaded among us.

James, With a tight and compact body and a powerful gaze this is one man who commands the attention of the camera or any room he enters

erock, (no it's not a misspelling) Tall dark and handsome has never been a more fitting description of a man then with erock From top to bottom, front to back, Perfection!

Micky, This is one hot and hairy DADDY BEAR, comfortable in shorts and a tank or harnessed up in leather this man know who he is and what he is all about.

Tony, this is a guy who can show us that with age comes depth and confidence. With a powerful body and some great body art on his back. wait till you see some of those shots

As you will see in some of the shot I will be posting, this location is lush and tropical, yet comfortable and homey. I was totally at home working and living there for four days and my models enjoyed the gardens and the pool, and while we were shooting they were made to feel right at home. I must admit my guys provided some nice eye candy while they were there.

 

The guest house is know for its Bear Clientele but with the welcome attitude that greets you at the door, I would say everyone should give it a visit when they plan to be in the Fort Lauderdale area.

In anticipation of our 2011 calendars and with the great high demand for our Classic Man Models we are continuing to interview and cast new men every day. We are based here in Orlando and welcome the chance to meet and work with as many local men as possible. The following is our latest casting notice...

 

Professional Photographer with over 20 yrs experience photographing “The Art Of Men” is looking for, BODYBUILDER TYPES, well-muscled jocks, defined older men, surfer dudes and just well rounded hot guys for artistic nude photo shoot. Currently interviewing in Orlando. All of are models must be at least 22 years of age and produce verifiable proof of name and age at the time of interview.

There is no experience needed, just be comfortable with your sexuality and proud of your body. I have been at this long enough to make even the shyest of men come alive in front of my camera. This is, as is all of our work, “TFP” (time for print), for this initial session. Paying work may be forthcoming if you have the look and style we want for the video expansion of our work.

Some Video Up-dates :

For over 25 years ClassicMan Photography has been creating the Art Of Man as seen through the

eyes of our photographer. We started with an old 35mm SLR and shot roll after roll of film.

For the last ten years we have embraced the world of digital imagery and have enjoyed the

creativity of high image larger format cameras. However to date we have captured our art

in a Still Format. We are now pleased to say that we have been approached to create High Definition digital video.

 

We look forward to beginning this work as soon as we identify the models we would like to

work with on some of the projects we have been ask to do.  Several new projects have been

commissioned for our new video development. If you are interested in being apart of one

of our upcoming project please let us know.  We will continue to work exclusively with men.

No Need To Pay For Your Headshot or Start-up Portfolio

We have been meeting with and interviewing a lot of new model possibilities lately, and we have been hearing the same old story form so many of them.  The see ads, answer casting calls and even get invited by so called casting agents or photographers for modeling opportunities. Once they get there they find out that it is noting more then a sales pitch - someone looking to sell them Headshots, a portfolio and more.   I have been photographing men for over 25 years and I have see it all. Let me tell you there is NO REASON YOU SHOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR YOUR HEADSHOTS OR PROFILE PICTURES.

 

If you are a good looking men with a pleasant personality, and an ego you can leave outside of the studio Classic Man Photo is more then willing to work with you. TFP (see bottom of the page for more info) was created for models just starting out. All of Classic Man's work is TFP.

Since we have been around for so long we also have a creative and realistic sense of what sells, what is marketable and what is not.  Since we are not looking to sell you anything we are very honest with you about your potential.

 

We are free to suggest ways to enhance your presentation and build your portfolio.  If we don't think you have what it takes, we are free to tell you that as well without loosing a sale, because we were never selling anything in the first place.

 

Every ClassicMan model enters into an agreement with what is expected of them and what will be presented to them - all this is done after the initial interview and hot light interview. If ClassicMan agrees to work with you you know what you will be getting.  Even in the event you want more shots for your portfolio then ClassicMan suggests, we can often work with you for time and additional photos.

If you are considering a new Headshot or Portfolio or even updating what you already have. ClassicMan and TFP is the best way to proceed.

Making Clear What We Mean By "TFP"

TFP is the professions standard term meaning "Time For Photos". It is an agreed upon arrangement between the photographer and the model where by the model offers his professional services i.e.: modeling time to the photographer in exchange for an agreed upon number of photos from the shoot for his use in self promotion. It is a great way for a model to build, add to and enhance his portfolio.

It is also an opportunity for the photographer to work with different men and varied looks thus broadening his artistic vision.

 

All of Classic Man's work is done TFP we meet with our models and if we thank they have a look that we would like to work with we will set a time and place for the shoot. We will arrange for the props and whatever might be needed. We require that the model be on time and prepared to work for the whole time we have agreed upon.  After the shoot Classic Man evaluates the whole shoot choose the shots we would like to work with and begins the finishing process.  Within 30 days the model will receive (either by coming into the studio for a consultation or via mail for long distance models) a CD with the agreed upon number of shots for there use. ClassicMan Photography still retains any and all copyrights to the photos and their use.  The following credit will be inconspicuously set on each photo and must remain in place for any public showing.  "Classic Man Photography - Copyright (c) DATE"

Special Reminder - we are still looking for men to be part of our book project for the SACRED SENSUAL SELF, a program of education and counseling for men seeking a deeper more intimate relationship with themselves and with others.
